The COVID-19 death toll in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental is rising with 12 new fatalities reported by the Department of Health Tuesday.
Bacolod City had 10 new deaths bringing its death toll to 61, making it the topnotcher in Western Visayas.
It is also the topnotcher in Western Visayas in the number of COVID-19 cases that were at 3,419 yesterday.
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental had two new COVID deaths on Tuesday bringing its total number of fatalities to 36. It had 2,582 Covid-19 cases as of yesterday, the DOH reported.
Iloilo City has 44 COVID deaths, Iloilo province – 27, Capiz -11 and Aklan – 6, the DOH said.*
