• THERESA MAE DULMAN

A total of 2,362 Bacolodnon scholars who successfully completed the Special Training for Employment Program of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) participated in the TESDA Lone District Mass Graduation 2026, yesterday, at the Bacolod City College Activity Center.

The beneficiaries received free skills training, competency assessments, starter toolkits, and allowances designed to enhance their employability, enable them to establish sustainable livelihoods, and help uplift their families.

Present at the event was Bacolod Lone District Representative Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, who committed to strengthening the role of technical education to provide more opportunities for Bacolod residents.

“The skills and knowledge you gained can open opportunities for employment, livelihood, and even building your own business in the future. Keep learning, keep growing, and continue working toward a better future for yourselves and your families,” the solon said.*
