Bacolod’s most wanted, arrested

• THERESA MAE DULMAN

Personnel from Police Station 4 have successfully apprehended a 40-year-old man tagged as the Most Wanted person in Bacolod City for a murder case.

The suspect, identified only by the alias ‘Allan,’ a resident of Barangay 20, was tracked by the authorities to his workplace in Banahaw Street, Barangay Villamonte, and was immediately taken into custody.

The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 50, in Bacolod City. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

According to police records, the suspect is the primary individual linked to a shooting incident on September 29, 2025, in Purok Barangay Mandalagan. The victims of the shooting were siblings Harold and Harly Espina who were riding a motorcycle together.

Harold died during the incident, while the younger sibling sustained injuries but survived.

Bacolod City Police Office Director Col. Eugene Rebadomia said the suspect’s history includes a progression from simple robberies to increasingly aggressive crimes.

He noted that the shooting incident was possibly influenced by drug involvement.

The suspect is currently in police custody pending further legal proceedings.*
