The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office 6 is calling on all jobseekers to participate in the first “Balik Trabaho” online job fair.
DOLE 6 regional director Cyril Ticao said in a statement furnished the DAILY STAR yesterday that registration for the job fair is ongoing until December 11 and it is for free.
Job applicants may register at www.mynimo.com/baliktrabaho.
It is also advised to prepare updated resume or use Mynimo Resume to easily create an electronic resume. Updates and links for the Balik Trabaho online job fair will be sent through the registered emails of the applicants.
The job fair also encourages employers to participate by sending the required documents and the list of job vacancies to trabaho@mynimo.com, the DOLE said.
It added that this is in line with the 87th anniversary celebration of the agency, that partnered with Mynimo.com to offer thousands of job opportunities to first timers or those whose employment was affected by the coronavirus disease pandemic.
“We innovate to generate job opportunities amidst this pandemic,” Ticao said. “The job fair is a vital employment activity during the celebration of the DOLE’s anniversary, however, due to the pandemic, we make it online this year.”
The job fair aims to assist employers to find the right candidates in their respective companies. Recognized businesses as well as small-to-medium scale industries all over the region have already signed up to participate in the event as the economy reopens and bounces back to the new normal track.*
