The recently concluded Sta. A dedicated bowler and a proud representative of the Office of the Province of Negros Occidental, Barbosa delivered a commanding performance throughout the tournament, showcasing her skill, focus, and tenacity on the lanes.

Barbosa’s triumph in this event adds to her growing list of accolades and highlights the depth of bowling talent in Negros Occidental. Her victory was a proud moment for Team STAI – Bowler X, which has traveled to Manila to compete among the nation’s best.

Adding further luster to the Negros contingent’s campaign, Minnie Chua, the Chancellor of University of St. La Salle – Bacolod, claimed the 3rd runner-up spot in the Ladies Division. Known for her enthusiasm and competitive spirit, Chua proved that excellence in academia can go hand in hand with athletic prowess.

In the Mixed Classified Masters category, Ice Villarosa represented the next generation of bowling talent by securing the 3rd runner-up position. Villarosa’s performance promises a bright future for youth bowlers in the region, underscoring the importance of grassroots sports development.

Team STAI – Bowler X’s success was made possible not only by their hard work and dedication but also through the support of their sponsors. Bowler X, together with Mark and Flor Hodgkinson, co-sponsored the delegates, enabling them to compete and shine on the national platform.

The SLETBA Open once again reinforced its reputation as a premier event in the Philippine bowling calendar, bringing together athletes from various walks of life to celebrate their shared passion for the sport. For Team STAI – BowlerX and Negros Occidental, it was a tournament to remember, with champions, rising stars, and community spirit taking center stage.
