• RICHARD T. CABALLERO JR.

The Bayawan City Police Station (BCPS) has been recognized as the best performing police station in Negros Oriental.

The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO) awarded a Certificate of Commendation to the Bayawan CPS on Monday during the traditional flag-raising ceremony at Maringal Hall, Camp Lt. Col. Francisco C. Hernandez Jr., Agan-an, Sibulan, Negros Oriental.

This ranking was based on the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for the calendar year 2025.

“This recognition reflects BCPS’s consistent and outstanding performance in operational efficiency, administrative excellence, community engagement, and public safety initiatives throughout the year,” the Bayawan CPS stated.

Under the leadership of PLt. Col. Joeson Parallag, Chief of Police, the station implemented innovative programs and strategies that strengthened peace and order in Bayawan City.

“This award is a recognition of the collective effort of all personnel of the Bayawan City Police Station and our partners in the community. It motivates us to continue serving with integrity, professionalism, and dedication,” Parallag said.

The BCPS remains committed to upholding public safety, delivering excellent police service, and maintaining its leadership in the province through proactive, people-centered policing.*
