In a dialog with Negros Occidental mayors and Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer, Marcos and Duterte Carpio listened to their concerns, especially those from badly affected municipalities and cities in 5th and 6th districts.

The tandem also promised more aid for the victims as soon as they can gather more donations.

Present at the dialogue were House Minority Leader Stephen Paduano. Deputy Speaker Martin Romualdez, Mayor Marxlen Dela Cruz of Don Salvador Benedicto, Mayor Mark Golez of Silay City, Mayor Nicholas Yulo of Bago City, Mayor Alejandro Mirasol of Binalbagan, Mayor Enrique Miravalles of Valladolid, Rhumyla Mangilimutan of La Castellana, Ella Garcia-Yulo of Moises Padilla, Gerry Rojas of Murcia, Raymund Tongson of Himamaylan City, Jilson Tubillara of San Enrique, EB Magalona Mayor Marvin Malacon, San Carlos City Mayor Renato Gustilo, Sagay Vice Mayor Narwin Javelosa and Isabela Vice Mayor Renato Malabor Jr.*
