The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is fully geared up to ensure a safe and vibrant celebration of the Bacolaodiat Festival, set to start today January 28, along the bustling Lacson Street in Bacolod City.
In collaboration with the local government unit of Bacolod City, festival organizers, and other government agencies, BCPO, said in a statement that it is committed to securing the colorful event.
A sufficient number of PNP personnel and force multipliers will be deployed to key areas to strengthen crime prevention efforts, enhance police visibility, and provide assistance to residents and visitors alike.
To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, BCPO, in close coordination with the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO), will implement a comprehensive traffic management plan.
The BCPO Traffic Enforcement Unit will oversee road closures along sections of North Capitol Road, 5th Street extending to 15th Street, and a portion of Aguinaldo Street, to accommodate the festival’s main stage, food kiosks, activity hubs, and other attractions.
Under the leadership of PCol. Joeresty Coronica, BCPO said it maintains a steadfast commitment to the mission to deliver a safe and memorable Chinese New Year experience for everyone.*
