BCPO collects over P2M shabu in a week

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) recovered an estimated P2,249,660 worth of suspected shabu from weeklong operations.

The significant drug haul was made in a series of operations conducted from September 8 to September 14.

According to BCPO records, the police conducted 13 separate drug buy-bust operations across the city, leading to the apprehension of 24 individuals involved in illegal drug activities.

In addition to the drug operations, five most-wanted persons, and an additional 11 other wanted individuals were captured.

The BCPO also arrested eight people for illegal gambling, where they confiscated P749 in bet money.

The police also reported the recovery or voluntary surrender of ten loose firearms, along with one explosive device having been turned over to authorities.*
