The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) officially declared the Bacolaodiat Festival 2026 a success following a three-day celebration marked by the absence of recorded incidents within the designated festival sites.
From February 20 to 22, 2026, the city’s Chinese New Year festivities drew thousands of participants to key festival sites, including the Bacolod City Government Center grounds.
According to BCPO Officer-in-Charge PCOL Eugene Rebadomia, no untoward incidents were recorded at Police Station 4 throughout the festivities.
He credited the success to the public’s strict adherence to safety guidelines and security protocols.
Rebadomia commended the professionalism of the BCPO personnel and force multipliers, noting that their collective efforts were essential to the success of the celebrations.*
