The Bacolod City Police Office yesterday received 40 handheld radio sets from businessman Ian Lo of Negros Grace Pharmacy.

P/Col. Joseph Martir, BCPO acting director, yesterday said that the donated handheld radio sets will be distributed to various police units, to be used by their respective personnel.

Martir also said that the handheld radio sets are expected to boost the BCPO crime prevention measures and police-initiated operations.

The handheld radio sets were personally delivered yesterday by Lo to BCPO, which was received by Martir, who had thanked him for his support in their peace and order campaign.*
