Personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) have been recognized by the Police Regional Office 6 for significant accomplishments rendered in the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities.
PLt Col. Ariel Pico, commander of the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company, and PCpl Willyfredo Victoriano were conferred with Medalya ng Papuri, or PNP Commendation Medal, for the arrest of Reylin Holifeña, who has a pending arrest warrant for adultery, at Araneta Street in Brgy Sum-ag, Bacolod City, in November 3 last year.
PLt. Col. Sherlock Gabana said that the BCPO Police Station 2 headed by PCapt. Paul Vincent Pendon was also commended by PRO6 for its successful buy bust operations in coordination with the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) and Special Operations Unit (SOU6), that led to the recovery of P442,000 worth of suspected shabu from an arrested drug suspect identified as Arnel Sitjar in Purok Kagaykay, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City.*
