The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), under the leadership of PCol Eugene Rebadomia, Officer-in-Charge, recognized outstanding winners of the Poster-Making Contest in line with the National Women’s Month Celebration 2026, during a flag raising and awarding ceremony at the BCPO parade grounds Monday.
Anchored on the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” and sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas,” the contest highlighted the creativity and advocacy of young students in promoting gender equality and women empowerment, a press release said.
Kish Visilleda Berdin of Handumanan National High School emerged as the champion, followed by Rebekah Grace Toleco of ABKASA National High School was first place, and Zair Faith Engada of Negros Occidental High School was second place.
The poster-making contest was conducted on March 18, at the BCPO Headquarters, showcasing the important role of the youth in advancing awareness on gender equality and inclusivity.
During the awarding ceremony, BCPO commended the winners for their artistic excellence and meaningful interpretation of the theme. The activity further emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting gender sensitivity, equality, and empowerment within the community.*
