Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Director PCOL Joeresty Coronica has officially placed newly appointed officers-in-charge (OIC) given a three-month timeline to show their accomplishments, following a major leadership reshuffle on Wednesday.
The performance of the new commanders will be strictly assessed based on specific targets.
Coronica clarified that the reshuffle was implemented as several station commanders had reached the two-year service limit or were required to attend mandatory career advancement courses.
He said that the new OICs are expected to hit the ground running, with their continued tenure depending on their ability to meet the tactical goals set for their respective jurisdictions within the 90-day window.
The leadership transition includes assigning new heads to 7 police stations starting with PCapt. Efren Legada for Police Station 1, PCapt. Andro Ma-apni for Police Station 3, and PCapt. Ramie Sayson for Police Station 5.
Returning to a familiar post is PCapt. Peter John Ramos for Police Station 6, while PCapt. Jay-R Reyes takes over Police Station 7.
Completing the roster of new OICs are PCapt. Sherwin Galupar for Police Station 8 and PCapt. Genus David for Police Station 10.
As part of the organizational movement, former station commanders have been reassigned to key staff positions.
Police Capt. Rosalino Pugoy Jr. has been named the new BCPO Spokesperson, while other outgoing chiefs have been moved to specialized units such as the Mobile Patrol Unit, City Operation Management Unit, and the City Investigation and Detective Management Unit.*
