In the week-long anti-criminality operations of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), a series of intensified operations were carried out across the city, leading to the confiscation of more than P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of 30 persons involved in various illegal activities during the period of July 14 to 20.
With their significant breakthroughs in their campaign against illegal drugs, a total of 13 buy-bust operations were conducted, nabbing 15 drug personalities with approximately 181 grams of shabu amounting to P1,230,800 seized.
Meanwhile, as part of intensified manhunt operations, 9 wanted persons charged with various criminal offenses were arrested. In the same reporting period, 3 operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 6 individuals involved in illegal gambling activities, P789 in bet money confiscated. Moreover, 1 loose firearm was surrendered last week.
The accomplishments serve as a testament to the dedication and bravery of BCPO and its personnel – proving once again that through unity and vigilance, a safer Bacolod is always within reach, the BCPO accomplishment report said.*
