BCPO seizes P2.2M in shabu

The Bacolod City Police Office reported the confiscation of 344.7 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P2,282,450, in 12 anti-drug operations it conducted from November 11 to 17.

Over the same period, 15 drug suspects were arrested.

On the other hand, a 31-year-old resident of Victorias City was arrested by the police on Nov. 19 in Iloilo City, for having in his possession about 60 grams of suspected shabu, with its market value estimated at P408,000.

Four other drug suspects were also nabbed by the police during a buy bust operation in Barangay 1 Poblacion, Kabankalan City, which yielded about four grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P27,200.

Meanwhile, the BCPO also accounted for 15 wanted persons, arrested 19 illegal gambling violators, which yielded P2,451 in alleged cash bets, and recovered 10 loose firearms, in law enforcement operations for the same week.*
