An estimated P449,000 worth of suspected shabu has been seized by the police in separate buy-bust operations in Brgys. 4 and Singcang Airport, all in Bacolod City.
Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) arrested on Thursday night a drug suspect identified as Eric Mugdan, alias Henar, during a buy bust operation at Purok Gabi, Brgy. 4, Bacolod City.
The apprehension of Mugdan, who is classified by the police as High Value Individual drug personality, yielded about 63 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P428,400, marked money of P1,000 and P150 in cash.
Prior to his arrest, Police Station 4 Drug Enforcement Team operatives also nabbed Gina Padernal, alias Inday, of Brgy. Patag, Silay City, in another buy-bust operation at Purok Neptune, in Brgy Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.
The apprehension of Padernal yielded about three grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P20,400 and P500 in marked money, according to PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of BCPO.
On the same day, policemen also nabbed Joey Pedroza, alias Joey Bulag, in another buy-bust operation at Purok Kinalumsan, Brgy. 1 poblacion in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Five sachets of suspected shabu, P500 in marked money and a black Suzuki Raider motorcycle without a license plate were recovered during the arrest of Pedroza, police said.*
