The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region has conferred P/Maj. Eugene Tolentino with the PNP Heroism Medal during the traditional flag raising ceremony held at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City, on May 19.
Tolentino, the Bacolod City Police Office Station commander, was cited for his exceptional leadership in his relentless campaign against illegal drugs in his area of operations.
In a statement, P/Brig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, regional police director of PRO NIR, said the relentless campaign of BCPO Station 2 against illegal drugs significantly contributed to the peace and order in Bacolod City.
“This award symbolizes the continuing commitment of BCPO to uphold the law and protect our communities from the dangers of illegal drugs,” said to its police director, PCol. Joeresty Coronica.*
