The Bacolod City Police Office under the leadership of PCol. Thomas Joseph Martir joins the Negros Occidental Police Office in vying for a national award as part of the 121st Police Service Anniversary next month.

BCPO is vying for the award of best City Police Office nationwide, as confirmed yesterday by Martir, while the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office under the command of PCol. Leo Pamittan is competing for the best Provincial Police Office award.

Under the leadership of Martir, the Zamboanga City Police Office in 2019 was judged as the Best City Police Office all over the country.

Members of the evaluation team from Camp Crame led by PBrig. Gen. Constancio Chinayog visited the BCPO headquarters on July 25 and 26 and conducted the Field Evaluation and Validation, which they also conducted on the Zamboanga and Naga City Police Offices.

On the other hand, Pamittan was also adjudged yesterday as outstanding PCAD (Police Community Affairs Development) Senior Police Officer for 2022 in Western Visayas, during the culmination ceremony on the 27th Police Community Relations Months held at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.

At the provincial level, PLt. Col, Joem Malong, Bago City police chief, was also adjudged as outstanding PCAD Junior Police Commission Officer, PEMS Antonietta Loraez as outstanding PCAD Senior PCO, PSSgt. Art Evan Margallo as outstanding PCAD Junior PNCO.

The Manapla Police Station and Bago City Police Stations were the outstanding municipal and city police stations, respectively, for the period of May 2021 to April this year.

Remelie Bisquera Teton and Felix Yusay Foundation Inc. were also cited by the NOCPPO for her PCAD programs and projects that contributed to its overall peace and development initiatives in Negros Occidental during the awarding rites held at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.*
