An all-women art exhibition showcasing glow-in-the dark artwork and a workshop were held at McDonald’s, The Upper East, Bacolod City on March 24 titled “Bella Vida” (The Good Life).
The show was held in celebration of International/National Women’s Month in collaboration with UNA Alliance Inc.
Guests of honor at the opening were Bacolod Councilor Em Legaspi-Ang, Bacolod Tourism Operations Officer Ma. Teresa Manalili, lawyer Andrea Si, and Megaworld senior sales director Gilbert Montebon.




“Women want equal opportunity and recognition of our achievements, skills and talents. We also need equal space in tables where decisions are made,” Ang said in her message at the opening of the show in celebration of Women’s Month.
Visual artist Dorren Dofitas said that, “As we celebrate Women’s Month, the artists of Bella Vida hopes that this artistic expression will inspire women of all ages , women of all colors, and women of all forms, to believe and understand that life is not a bed of roses. It is a beautiful life waiting at the end of the rainbow.”*
