Negros Occidental 3rd district Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez was among the list of top performing members of the House of Representatives for the first quarter of 2024, based on the independent and non-commissioned survey conducted by non-governmental organization RP- Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
The “Top Performing Representatives—Philippines” is part of the “Boses ng Bayan” national survey, according to RPMD, which was conducted from March 18-24,this year, which involved 10,000 adult participants, and provided a robust analysis of regional public opinion with a margin of error of +/-1% and a 95 percent confidence level.
Speaker Martin Romualdez of Leyte led the list of top performers with 92.8 job performance rating, while Benitez got a commendable 88.9 job performance score.
Negros Oriental 2nd Rep. Manuel Sagarbarria also got an 89.5 job performance rating, according to the RPMD survey results.
The House of Representatives is composed of 316 members, with 253 district representatives and 63 party-list representatives.
In a statement, Dr. Paul Martinez, RPMD executive director and Global Affairs Analyst, said the solons underwent rigorous assessments, based on the feedback from their constituents, with their performance meticulously scrutinized.
