The Bureau of Fire Protection – Bacolod City is conducting operation Oplan Semana Santa and Lakbay Alalay this Holy Week from April 13 to 17.
Starting yesterday, the BFP deployed its personnel and fire trucks in various areas in the city to help provide assistance to travelers, as well as distribute fire safety leaflets/ brochures to the public.
Personnel of the BFP Central Fire Station will be stationed at the Bacolod Public Plaza and San Sebastian Cathedral; the Lopez Jaena Fire Sub-Station at the Ceres North Terminal in Brgy. Bata; the Libertad Fire Sub-Station at the Ceres South Terminal in Lopez Jaena Street;
The Rodriguez Fire Sub-Station will be stationed at the BREDCO Port; the Pahanocoy Fire Sub-Station at the San Isidro Labrador Parish Church in Brgy. Tangub; Sum-ag Fire Sub-Station at the St. John Nepomuceno Parish Church in Brgy. Sum-ag;
The Granada Fire Sub-Station will be stationed at Our Lady of Miraculous Parish Church in Brgy. Granada; and the Mansilingan Fire Sub-Station at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church in Brgy. Mansilingan.*
