A painting by Visayan artist Anthony Fermin has been featured by an advertising firm on the wall of a gas station along Lacson, B.S. Aquino Drive in Bacolod City, to inspire people in the community.
Fermin, whose paintings are known for their expressive and vibrant colors, has exhibited several times in Bacolod, as well as internationally.
The owner and founder of Modern Graffix Ads and Prints said this collaboration is very meaningful to her because it reflects what they truly believe in as a business, that signages and billboards are not only for advertisements, but they can also be platforms that inspire people and create positive impact.
“Through this collaboration with Anthony Fermin, we wanted to share a message of hope, faith, and comfort to everyone who sees the billboard. In a world where people silently carry different struggles, even a simple message seen on the road can uplift someone’s heart,” Corina said.
“As Modern Graphix Ads and Prints, our goal has always been bigger than printing materials and building signages. We believe that visibility is powerful. If a billboard can influence people commercially, it can also inspire people emotionally and spiritually. More than creating signages, we want to create a meaningful impact in the community,” she said.*
