Entertainment platform BingoPlus shared inspiration with a new series, Host Reversal of Life, produced by BingoPlus Studios, through an interview on Plus Talk.

On August 30, an interview was uploaded on their social media account, featuring BingoPlus’ most senior host, Rod, the OG BisDak (Original Bisayang Dako), meaning originally born and raised in the province.

As he sat down for a one-on-one interview with BingoPlus host Stefi, Rod shared his heartwarming life story from being a fisherman to becoming one of their top hosts. Rod narrated how life has been difficult at such an early age. He encountered a lot of struggles as young as 12 years old during his elementary days.

Due to life’s challenges, he sacrificed his studies and work instead to support his family. He has various work experiences, including fishing, factory work, security guard work, and delivery.

Eventually, his perseverance led him to work with BingoPlus, starting from being a card seller on the traditional Bingo Bonanza to being discovered as a live studio host. He said that it was an unforgettable moment as he was able to introduce himself as a host, and everyone cheered for him.

Another host shared an inspiring story as well. Uploaded on August 23, Bimby, ang Lodi ng BingoPlus, interviewed by host Carla on Plus Talk, has a remarkable story to tell.

From being a construction worker to now being a likable host, BP host Bimby expressed it was far from what his life was before. He narrated his struggles in finding a job, starting from being a construction worker. He went through lifting heavy stuff, being in the sun for long periods of time, and getting bruises from tough work.

Like Rod, Bimby also had multiple work experiences. He said he had to navigate different jobs and he would take any job because he realized that it was all he could have. He mentioned that finding employment for a full day from Quezon City to Makati was the most difficult experience he had. Despite facing many rejections, Bimby persisted.

At the end of his previous job’s contract, Bimby experienced one lucky day as he posted on his Facebook account that he was looking for a job. A friend who was working at Bingo Bonanza commented on his post. His friend was also the reason why he was able to work with BingoPlus.

Ever since, life has been a blast for Bimby. From nothing to being able to build a house for him and his family. He was able to travel to places he has never been and eat in restaurants that he was only looking at before.

The series will continue to feature BingoPlus Studio hosts’ inspiring life stories. In the next episode, the interview for BP host Bam is one to look forward to. The episode will be about dealing with players and viewers’ criticism. Also, her promotion from being a studio host to supervisor and how her life changed.*
