BingoPlus sponsored MassKara Day 6 highlights

BingoPlus Foundation’s beneficiary: Cadiz Public Library*

Entertainment platform BingoPlus celebrated the MassKara Festival in the City of Smiles, Bacolod on October 20, 2024.

The MassKara Festival, meaning “many faces”, is a yearly event celebrated every October in Bacolod. It is one of the largest festivals in the Philippines where locals wear vibrant and colorful smiling masks to lift their spirits.

As part of the grand celebration, BingoPlus booths were positioned early in the afternoon at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC). Bacolodnons were seen enjoying the Super Ace booth, Bingo Rush, and the Pinoy Drop Ball booth. On the other hand, ArenaPlus booth was equally visited by sports fans wherein ArenaPlus’ merchandise were also given away. The hot weather didn’t falter the attendees as the free food and drinks were also enjoyed by the crowd. On the other hand, good luck, fortunes, and advice were shared at the Feng Shui booths, which was also appreciated by Bacolodnons.

The live stream of the event garnered tons of views on BingoPlus’ social media platforms, Facebook, X, YouTube, as well as their app and website. Partnering with Cornerstone Entertainment, the music festival featured some of their talented and sought-after artists such as rising P-Pop groups G22, VXON, and YML, who performed for the pre-show.

The celebration began with a traditional dance that was performed by artists wearing beautiful, well-crafted masks. Keeping the audience engaged and entertained are lively and cheerful hosts DJ Eva Ronda, Baileys Acot, Kevin Montillano, and Nicki Morena. They certainly did a great job of keeping the audience’s energy at a high level.

Hands down as Asia’s Soul Supreme, KZ Tandingan led with her powerful vocals. Putting her spin on some of Pinoy classics from Eraserheads to Gloc 9 to her own, KZ never fails to amaze. The crowd was then serenaded with some of Pinoys’ favorite love songs by KZ’s true-to-life Prince Charming, the award-winning singer/songwriter, TJ Monterde. Surely, the people of Bacolod could feel the love in the air as TJ sings his hit song “Palagi”, later joined by KZ on stage.

Instantly, the crowd excitedly screamed as the BingoPlus endorser and country’s ultimate heartthrob, Piolo Pascual was introduced next. After singing, he shared how inspiring BingoPlus and their activities are. BingoPlus highlighted their foundation and its projects such as providing clean water to rural areas, PWD rehabilitation, scholarship programs, relief goods, etc.

In a press conference, Pascual said that it is great how BingoPlus is not just about doing business, but also giving back to the community by implementing service projects that help a lot of people. Thus, BingoPlus Foundation introduced their beneficiaries that received a great help for the realization of an even larger cause.

The foundation’s first beneficiary is Cadiz Public Library, receiving robotics and programming kits and training for teachers. They also accepted a donation amounting to P500,000 pesos. Second beneficiary is the City of Kabankalan, where the indigenous people live such as Karulanos. BingoPlus extended an optical mission for seniors of the town. They also handed them a check of P1,000,000 pesos. Moreover, Valladolid District Hospital, who aims to expand their surgical and medical missions is the third beneficiary introduced. They received a massive amount of P1,500,000 pesos.

“We will not have reached this success without the support from our players.” Andy Tsui, DigiPlus President, said. He gave thanks to everyone who contributed to the foundation’s projects. “At DigiPlus, we say multiply the fun, and with BingoPlus Foundation, we say, multiply the good.” He expressed. As he ended his speech, he also conveyed hope for the organization to continue giving back to the community moving forward.

As BingoPlus grows and expands, they also want to share their success with those who have been loyal with the brand since its conception. With this, eight winners of the BingoPlus mask campaign with a prize of P1,000,000 each also got to experience the generosity of BingoPlus. The cheque was presented by Tsui along with Jasper S. Vicencio.

The rock and roll continued as the legendary local band FRANCO graced the stage. The band brought the storm, literally, as the rain began to pour heavily. Nonetheless, BingoPlus was thankful for the amount of support given to the success of the event. Despite the weather conditions, the fans stayed until the end and had a good time.

Meanwhile, BingoPlus hosted a motorcade last Sunday, October 19, 2024, throughout Mandalagan, SM City Bacolod, Gaisano Mall, City Mall, and ending in BCGC, to promote BingoPlus Day MassKara Music Fest and the newly launched game Pinoy Drop Ball.

Moreover, on October 20 BingoPlus organized a fun run at Lacson Street with 500 locals participating. MassKara dancers and drum beaters performed during the race. The brand also provided free breakfast and a Zumba session afterwards.

BingoPlus Day MassKara Music Festival is an event that celebrates its partners and supporters, expressing the brand’s heartfelt gratitude in a way that highlights fun and excitement. It is done in partnership with various groups: DigiPlus Interactive Corp., BingoPlus Foundation, BingoPlus Poker, Peryagame, Gamezone, Tongits+, and ArenaPlus.*
