The Cadiz City Creative Section, in collaboration with the Hibalag Group of Artists, announced the winners of “Unseen Creatures” Body Painting Competition held at Cadiz City Food Park in Cadiz City, Saturday night.
The competition was exclusive for Cadiznon artists, showcasing their creativity and innovation through breathtaking body art on female models. Fifteen talented artists joined this year’s competition with the theme: “Unseen Creatures.”
This year’s winners were entry no.5 of Warren Cabahug who was declared champion and awarded P10,000 in cash prize and a trophy. First runner-up was awarded to entry no.11 of Jhony Boy Diesma who took home P8,000 in cash prize. Second runner-up was entry no.7 of Nelson Gonzales who received P7,000 in cash prize. Third runner-up was entry no.2 of Christopher John Puerta, receiving a P5,000 cash prize. Entry no.15 of Denib Trangia was fourth runner-up and received P4,000 in cash prize. All runners-up also received their trophies.
Five consolation prize winners were awarded to entry no.1 of Jo Ryan Brodit, entry no.4 of PJ Salcedo, entry no.8 of Renmar Baring, entry no.9 of Rusty Quiatchon, and entry no.13 of Earl Von Salcedo. All consolation prize winners received P2,000 in cash prize and certificates.
The event was part of Cadiznon Lunsod Lunsad Year 2: Elevating Creative Excellence, capturing the essence as Cadiz City continues to solidify its place as a Creative City with remarkable events that push the boundaries of art and imagination.
