More than 300 residents from Barangay 1 in Bacolod City availed of free medical consultation and medicines during a mission held recently at the Andres Bonifacio Elementary School 2.
This includes 89 young boys who went through circumcision.
The medical mission, organized by the United Architects of the Philippines-Bacolod Azucar Chapter in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Bacolod North, brought in 90 volunteers from the Order of Aesclepius composed of medical students from West Visayas State University, Tambal of the University of St. La Salle, The Doctors Hospital, Riverside Medical Center Surgery Department, Young Pharmacist Group Philippines – Negros Occidental Chapter, Kapwa and 303rd Brigade Brown Eagle.
The organizers also expressed their support provided by the council of Barangay 1. Azucar Chapter president Rolem Basiya said the activity is part of their organization’s continuing social responsibility program and thanked their partner and the volunteers for bringing the activity to fruition.*
