Kabankalan City government donated P300,000 in financial aid to Barangay 27, Bacolod City, which was recently ravaged by a fire.
Kabankalan Mayor Benjie Miranda personally turned over the cash donation to Brgy. Captain Freeman Madalag in the office of Mayor Greg Gasataya at the Bacolod City Government Center on Tuesday.
“The people of Kabankalan have not forgotten the time when we needed help, especially during Typhoon Odette,” Miranda said.
Gasataya said that the financial assistance will go directly to Barangay 27.
“We leave it to the discretion of the barangay since they are the beneficiary of the donation, it is up to them on what plan they will do with the donation,” he said.*
