Twenty-two photo entries for the Tourism Week Celebration 2024 Photography contest were judged at the Cadiz City Park in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday.
The Cadiz City Tourism Office announced the official winners after validation of all the entries, which was based on the objective to give support for the love of photography to its local photographers.
The photograph entries showcased the different tourism destinations in the city and highlighted them to capture this year’s Tourism Week theme of “Tourism and Peace”.
Fritz Llacuna bested 21 other entries and was the first place winner. Jeboy Velano and Charity Gentilezo won second and third places, respectively.
Six consolation prizes were awarded to Heartfiled Lamadrid, Justin Angelo Balandra, Mark Acuriza, Armelyn Gonzaga, Joseph Caceres, and Jenny Rose Doromal.
All winners received cash prizes and certificates.*
