The 1st Mayor Salvador G. Escalante Jr. Invitational Motocross Competition 2022 was held at the Cadiz City reclamation area on July 2 and 3 as part of the city’s 55th Charter Day celebration.

The event was organized by SK Federation president, Councilor Al Stephen Tupas Jr.

Awarded as winners were, for the Novice Local Enduro category, Jan Frederick Sumadia, first place; Belmar Tanodra, second; Reymarat Soriano, third; and Pal Pal Gustilo, fourth; while for the Open Moped category, Dove Falcon Pedillo, first; John Mark Bayona, second; Nonoy Panaguiton, third; and Ramil Roxas, fourth.

For the Beginner Local Enduro category, the winners were Totong Dela Cruz, first; King Francis Dequinto, second; Reymart Soriano, third; and EJ Jardinico, fourth; for the Cadiz Exclusive category, Shotte Yu, first; King Francis Dequinto, second; Jethson Gallego, third; and Adrian Peñas, fourth.

In the 4 Stroke Local Enduro category, first placer was Jan Frederick Sumadia; Jenel Caballero, second; Belmar Tanodra, third; and Zairo Parreño, fourth; while in the Executive Local Enduro 5 Laps category, Alex Pastolero, first; Shaq Gallarde, second; Jireh Ravina, third; and Joel Dela Peña, fourth; and in the Open Local Enduro 6 Laps category, Aljon Gabuya, first; Zairo Parreño, second; Stevie Renz Gallego, third; and Jonathan Palma, fourth.

On the second day of the competition, the winners for the Open Production category were Terence Napat, first; Mitch Rivera, second; Gelo Leonardo, third; and Jan Jan Adlawan, fourth; while in the Novice Production category, Cha Sumalangay, first; Jan Frederick Sumadia, second; Pal Pal Gustilo, third; and Cael Michael Valbarez, fourth.

In the Executive Production category, Yok Yok Omero won the top spot; Jireh Ravina, second; Tim Gado, third; and Shem Fernandez, fourth; on the other hand, Josian James Andrada was first place in the Kids 50 CC 7yrs Under category; Rael Booc, second; Yass Caldea, third; and Yoyong Tumangan, fourth; while in the Kids 65 CC 12yrs Under category, Tobby Chavez, first; Lovely Joy Olaban, second; Kyler Leonardo, third; and Roytoy Villasis, fourth.

Meanwhile, Sharlet Gallarde won the first spot in the Ladies Class category; Love Joy Ocaban, second; Ma. Therese Fernandez, third; and Charmain Blancaflor, fourth; while in Expert Production category, Eljohn Fernandez, first; Clinton Cualiza, second; Denmar Supatan, third; and Gelo Leonardo, fourth.

In the Beginner Production category, first placer was Jan Frederick Sumadia; Gai Gai Mombay, second; Belmar Tanora, third; and Zairo Parreño, fourth; while in the Kids 85 CC category, first placer was Gai Gai Mombay; Luizenze Khent Gosim, second; Elcil Eusebio, third; and Sean Paul Diaresco, fourth.

For the Pro Class category, winners were Terence Napat, Jan Jan Adlawan, Mitch Rivera, and Denmar Supatan for the first, second, third and fourth places, respectively; while in the Intermediate Production category, the winners were El John Fernandez, first; Jued Bachoco, second; Michael Tuvilla, third; and Clinton Gualiza, fourth.

Other winners were Shem Fernandez, Jireh Ravina, Tim Ryan Gado, and James Andrada, who placed first, second, third, and fourth, respectively, in the Veteran Class category.

Present during the event were Mayor Salvador Escalante Jr. and other city officials.*
