The three-year Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) between the provincial government and the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Workers (PACE) has been approved by the Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan during its regular session on Tuesday, PACE president Ruben Diamante disclosed yesterday.
That would mean an annual bonuses of P25,000 for the regular and casual employees of the provincial government from 2024 to 2026, Diamante said in a press briefing at the Provincial Capitol media center in Bacolod City.
The present CNA, which is expected to end on December, is subject for renewal every three years.
Diamante said that only 2,270 regular and casual employees can avail of the P25,000 incentive bonus. Non-members who want to avail of it should pay a P2,280 agency fee, which is equivalent to one year membership dues.
He further disclosed that elected officials and department heads are also entitled to receive the P25,000 incentive bonus.
Diamante added that they are pushing a new provision in the CNA, to include the inclusion of giving special leave privileges to qualified employees
During its regular session, the SP also gave Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson an authority to sign the CNA with PACE officers.*
