Capitol gets new tourism head, provincial accountant

The Provincial Tourism and Accountant Offices of Negros Occidental provincial government have new chiefs.

Raymond Bayot was appointed by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson as officer-in-charge of the Tourism Division, replacing Cheryl Decena, who has been suspended for six months.

Prior to his present position, Bayot served as a Tourism Operation Assistant.

Decena has filed a motion for reconsideration for her suspension.

Lacson has also designated Jamira Magbanua as the acting Provincial Accountant, replacing Annabelle Magalona, who will be retiring on November 16.*
