The Land Bank of the Philippines yesterday expressed its readiness to partner with Negros Occidental provincial government in advancing digital transformation efforts aimed at modernizing financial services and transactions.
This comes after the Landbank officials, led by its president and Chief Executive Officer, Lynette Ortiz, yesterday paid a courtesy call and met with acting Governor Jose Benito Alonso, to discuss a partnership on digital transformation.
Landbank officials presented its digital tools designed to enhance efficiency and public accessibility, emphasizing the importance of user-friendly interfaces.
The meeting, according to a statement issued by the provincial government, also highlighted the use of Landbank’s digital portals, and the coordination with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, to enhance PGNO’s online services and transactions through the integration of Landbank’s digital banking platform.
During the meeting, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to digital transformation and its continued efforts to enhance online services for the public.
Diaz also highlighted PGNO’s transition to solar energy, citing its significant cost-saving benefits. In response, Landbank shared that it offers financing options for renewable energy initiatives, including solar installations for other projects within the province.
Landbank also lauded the provincial government for the user-friendly and well-designed digital portal implemented in Mambukal operations.*
