The promotion of two Capitol executives and other employees of the provincial government of Negros Occidental got the approval of Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, disclosed Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz yesterday.
Promoted were Arnel Argusar to head of the Provincial General Services Office (GSO) and Jamira Rosario Magbanua as the Assistant Provincial Accountant.
Diaz said that the appointment of Argusar only needs the concurrence of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental, after it was approved by the Provincial Selection Board.
Last week, Diaz said he had signed for approval many permanent positions in hospitals, Budget and Accounting offices, and also the promotion of worthy employees.
“We are trying to strengthen all our departments by filling up permanent positions that have been opened,” he further said.
On the other hand, Diaz also announced the release of Capitol employees Performance Based Bonus (PBB) within this month.
We are just waiting for the guidelines from the Civil Service Commission, he added.
Entitled to receive PBB, which represent 60 percent of an employee’s basic monthly salary, are regular and casual employees, Diaz also said.*
