Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz yesterday said that issues raised against former Human Resource and Management Office head, Atty. Anabelle Palic, by the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Workers has already been resolved.
Diaz said that Atty. Palic complied with the order of Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, as she reported for duty on March 8 at the Office of the Governor, who also asked him of her specific tasking.
Palic has been tasked by Gov. Lacson to oversee the transition of the management of Negros First Cyber Center to the provincial government of Negros Occidental, following her relief as HR head on March 5.
Diaz justified the transfer of Palic, stressing that “ it is for the benefit, for the good of majority of provincial government employees”. But also he also clarified they are not discriminating anybody, or making their lives miserable.
We are just listening to the sentiments of current and retired employees, he said, adding that Gov. Lacson acted swiftly by issuing a reassignment order for Atty. Palic.
It shows that Gov. Lacson will always defend the welfare of our employees in the province
Lacson also assigned Felomina Gozon as Officer-in-charge of the HRMO with a team who will assist her.
After a meeting with Palic, Diaz said he also met with Guzon on March 8 with an instruction to ensure that job order casual employees will be paid through ATM payroll, and not vouchers, among others.*
