Capitol signs MOA with BPO for employment opportunities

The provincial government of Negros Occidental yesterday signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Panasiatic Call Centers, Inc. for skills training and enhancement of employment opportunities for skilled Negrense youth.

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Cristina Orbecido, administrator of the Negros Occidental Language and IT Center (NOLITC) signed the MOA with Panasiatic Site Director Siony Ferraris and BPO Recruitment and Sourcing Manager Alaine Fideles Pilar, which was held at Provincial Capitol Governor’s Office.

The agreement primarily aims to help NOLITC graduates find employment opportunities with the said business process outsourcing company, according to a statement issued by the provincial government Public Information Office.

NOLITC is a recognized technical-vocational education and training (TVET) provider by the Technical Educational and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to offer competency-based programs, particularly in the Information and Communication Technology and Language sectors.

Both NOLITC and Panasiatic share a common vision and goal of improving the skills and training of young individuals to enhance their qualifications for employment in the industry.*
