Negros Occidental Provincial Legal Officer Alberto Nellas Jr. dismissed yesterday as retaliatory tactics the filing of administrative complaints against Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson before the Office of the President by lawyer Ernie Magaspag.
Magaspag, according to Nellas, accused Lacson of alleged irregularities, with his issuances.
Nellas said they already forwarded their reply to the allegations of Magaspag to the Office of the President, stressing that all the issuances have been reviewed by the Provincial Legal Office, and these are in accordance with the law.
He also stressed that there is no evidence to prove irregularities, contrary to the claims.
The filing of administrative complaints against Lacson came after Magaspag, who was assigned at the PLO, was dismissed due to administrative cases, Nellas said.
Three other former Capitol department heads are also being investigated by the PLO. Nellas also said that he is not aware of any complaints filed against Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz by Magaspag.*
