CBR Buglas girls take runner up in Victorias bootfest

First runner-up: Born 2012 Team A*

The Gardenville United Football Club Inc. brought in “CBR Buglas” Girls Born 2009, and Girls Born 2012 A & B, to the City of Victorias Bootfest on March 14, with the support of Sketchy Horse, GoTyme, PAGSS, Growee, and the Filipino Canberra Community, to bring home a duo of first runner-up trophies and pair of Best Defender Trophy awardees.

“We believe that players can bounce back after a 1-0 loss versus Sagay FC…our better coaching landed them a spot in the semifinals against Silay Lokal FC, leading to the championship round,” said head coach of Girls Born 2009, Joshua Fegidero.

According to a press release, the Girls Born 2012 team A that won the first runner-up was made up of Shanel Molequin, Cyrlizene Ibanez, Maxene Sison, Ysabel Yasay, April Gayongala, Princess Tanghal, Ashly Geguiera, Crysna Gaugano, Jazzmine Cuberos, Meysha Cadungog.

Girls Born 2012 team B players were Mhaj Descargar, Nicole Valeriano, Drake Ibañez, Marcela Lachica, Alana Lachica, Jirah Marcelino, Princess Duremdez, Sunshine Beboso, Alre Javellana, Floraine Visitacion, Edreanna Esguia, Ella Melana, and Kris Ricaplaza.

They were headed by coaches Jiff, Luther Silava, Earl Bona, Bon Sison, Ron Molequin, and Zane Oñate.

The 8-a-side FIFA artificial turf skirmish is a prelude to the Ayala Vermosa Quad Meet to be held in Manila on March 27, for the Girls Born 2009 team composed of Renee Lomugdang, Claudia Montinola, Shanel Molequin, Jhayne Dalogdog, Shine Sales, Marinel Gonzales, Yannah Amar, Nicole Segovia, Chloe Pasana, Kelsy Anub, Nathalie Andres, Khreshia Clarion. They will be led by coaches Joshua Fegidero, Jiff, Luther Silava, Earl Bona, Red Yasay, and Ron Molequin.*
