Carlos Hilado Memorial State College co-hosted the “REady ka na ba? A Senatorial Dialogue on Energy Issue” on March 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Organized by the Center for Energy, Ecology, and Development (CEED), the live event was covered via Zoom by DNX News and was aired on the Facebook page of CEED, and CHMSC. It was moderated by lawyer Alexandra Gamboa, Gas and Energy Consultant, and Sherwin Macahilig, CHMSC Student Government vice-president.

Senatorial candidates who joined the dialogue were Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda, Senator Win Gatchalian, and Atty. Luke Espiritu.

Besides being an avenue for senatorial candidates to present their positions and platforms on renewable energy, the activity served as a voter education initiative and an opportunity to highlight the importance of the energy agenda in this year’s 2022 Presidential Election.*
