“I was inspired because of the efforts of BTS to work hard on their talents that made them who they are now. I think every one of us can shine when we choose to use our talent and skills in the right cause and with perseverance to challenge these existing abilities,” said Kelly Kim Sepida, 19, who won the Smart’s K-Create for a Cause contest recently.

Sepida, a BS in Industrial Technology, major in Architectural Drafting student of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College, said he decided to join the contest because he thought that this could be the way in which he could challenge his skills in drawing, plus the prizes were worth his effort.

It was on June 2 when the winners were announced and the prizes arrived yesterday, a press release from CHMSC said.

Sepida received a Samsung S21, Smart Prepaid 5G sim, and P1,000 worth of Smart load. There will also be P50,000 worth of premium items featuring his design, the press release said.

“I would like to thank Smart Communications Inc. for giving digital artists the opportunity to showcase their talents. I hope that this kind of contest will continue so that more and more local artists will be recognized,” he added.*
