Circulo de Bacolod awarded five talented young artists who excelled in its On-the-Spot Drawing Competition with the theme “Pasko ng Pagbangon,” on December 14 at Ayala Mall Capitol Central, Bacolod City.
The official winners were Glenierr Rose Alcabasa who won first place, Keelan Gale Bobila – second place, Aianna Jetska Loredo – third place, Faith Louise Balbuena – fourth place, and Wendy Kris Ofianga – fifth place.
Their winning pieces beautifully captured the spirit of hope, resilience, and renewal this Christmas season. Each artwork was truly inspiring and a testament of their creativity and passion for the arts.
Circulo de Bacolod president Sandra Sycip, Group of Negrense Artists (GONA) president GilJojn Quiamco, and Art Association of Bacolod-Negros (AABN) treasurer Patty Jane Ong served as judges during the event.
Ili Marie Arnaiz and Irish Mae Siason, served as project chairperson, and assistant project chairperson, respectively, while Bamboo Tonogbanua was the project consultant.
Circulo de Bacolod thanked the participants, as well as the parents, teachers, and supporters who made the event a success.*
