A resolution thanking and commending the Philippine Red Cross Negros – Bacolod Chapter for their exemplary service during the 44th MassKara Festival celebration, was approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod yesterday.
The resolution authored by Councilor Em Ang said the 44th MassKara Festival is a time when thousands of participants, audience members, and MassKara dancers gather to revel in the spirit of unity and festivity, making it one of the most anticipated and cherished events in Bacolod City.
The safety and well-being of all participants, audience members, and the MassKara dancers are of paramount importance during this grand celebration, it said.
The Philippine Red Cross Negros-Bacolod Chapter played a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of those in attendance at the 44th MassKara Festival, the resolution said.
The PRCN-BC provided quick response teams at various festival sites to attend to individuals who required medical assistance, thereby demonstrating their commitment to the welfare of our citizens and visitors, it said.
The quick response teams of PRCN-BC acted with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and compassion, attending to the needs of the participants, audience members, and MassKara dancers who were not feeling well during the events, the resolution added.*
