The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Inc.-Negros Occidental Chapter is holding its Civil Engineering Month celebration with the theme “Innovations in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Civil Engineering Challenges”.
In a press release, PICE-Negros Occidental Chapter President Wenroe Bajada said the celebration is to bring attention and consciousness to the Filipino people, the importance of the civil engineers in nation building and to encourage the full support of PICE-NOC members.
The PICE launched its Best Celebrated Civil Engineering Month 2023 competition with the following activities: courtesy call to governor and radio interview on November 10; thanksgiving mass on November 10, 4 p.m. at the UNOR-Oratory; motorcade on November 12, 8 a.m. from PICE-Negros Occidental Chapter Office in Barangay 39 to Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, Talisay City.
The opening program, quiz bee, bridge building and various sports competition – PICEklaban 2023 with the PICE-NOC student chapter will then follow at the CHMSU gymnasium, and the sports championship, sing and dance, and Search for Mr. and Ms. PICE-NOC 2023 will be on November 30.*
