The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City has emerged as the top-performing government hospital in Western Visayas for healthcare accessibility, recording a 99.83 percent implementation rate of the No Balance Billing (NBB) policy.
The Western Visayas Medical Center and Don Jose Monfort Medical Center Hospital also posted high marks of 99.28 percent and 97.86 percent respectively, based on the data released by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) Region VI.
According to Lazaro Tabsing, PhilHealth Region VI Acting Regional Vice-President, these government hospitals continue to demonstrate excellence in upholding the spirit of Universal Health Care.
“These high NBB compliance rates ensure that our patients, especially the most vulnerable, receive the care they deserve without worrying about costs,” he said.
The PhilHealth Customer Assistance Relations and Empowerment Staff team monitors the hospital monthly to guarantee that the standards are strictly and consistently met.*
