The Bacolod Police Office Station 6 operatives arrested a 21-year-old suspect, identified as alias ‘Job’ during a gun bust at 10:02 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, in Purok Paglaum, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City.
The operation yielded a .38 caliber revolver and approximately one gram of suspected shabu valued at P6,800.
The suspect was also positively identified as the perpetrator of a robbery hold-up at a computer shop in Purok Rosas, Barangay Taculing, on January 26.
Authorities are currently verifying his status as an ex-convict and investigating potential pending warrants.
Police are also probing his links to criminal activities extending into Barangay Alijis and Barangay Singcang.
The suspect is detained at Police Station 6 facing charges for robbery, Republic Act 10591 or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
