Policemen have arrested a construction worker for alleged vote buying on Sunday night in Brgy. Tibsoc, San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
Intercepted and nabbed by the San Enrique Police was Dindo Tolosa, 56. The arrest of Tolosa, of Vagallon Street, Brgy. Poblacion, San Enrique, yielded a white envelope containing a shaded ballot, P2,100 cash in different denominations, a leaflet bearing the party list name Uswag Ilonggo and a cellular phone.
Tolosa was intercepted by Brgy. Kagawad Juno Benitez and tanod members, who were roving in the barangay.
Police investigations show Tolosa claimed he was requested to deliver something to a resident in the area which he did not identify.*
