Coolaire, the most widely used brand of refrigerated vans in the country, and JMC, the leading truck supplier in the Philippines, have teamed up to bring fiberglass bodies for dry items to the Filipino people.

The fiberglass dry van is Coolaire’s latest contribution to the logistics industry and is built according to the same world class procedures that its refrigeration systems are known for, its press release said.

More and more businesses are shelving the aluminum vans for their delivery vehicles because switching to the fiberglass dry van would mean the delivery of more products, no more plywood interiors, longer useful life, for corporate image and aesthetics, and a dependable truck equipped with latest technology to carry multiple loads at any point in the country, the press release said.

While aluminum has been traditionally the main choice of materials for closed vans, fiberglass products are now starting to be used extensively in the fabrication of these structures in various parts of the globe.

“The upgrade, as many may regard it, provides modern solutions to the rising demands of logistics. Fiberglass makes the closed van more durable, economical, and lightweight compared to its aluminum counterpart,” the press release added.*
