About P200,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized by operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office in buy-bust operations held in barangays 40 and Taculing Tuesday.
P/Major Sherlock Gabana, BCPO spokesperson, said they recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu, worth P170,000 and weighing about 25 grams, from Erwin Toledo, alias “Nonoy”, 36, of Purok Amalez 1, Brgy. 40.
He was arrested near his residence by the City Drug Enforcement Unit policemen after selling suspected shabu to a poseur buyer at about 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Gabana added that two men were also arrested at 7th Road in Fuentebella Subdivision, Brgy. Taculing, for selling suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
He identified those arrested as Joenel Alquiza, 39, of Puentebella Subdivision, and Rene Mijares, 29, of Brgy. Vista Alegre, who yielded eight sachets containing four grams of suspected shabu, worth P27,200.*
