A total of 145 personnel from the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) were recently subjected to a random drug test yesterday.
The procedure is a mandatory annual requirement based on a memorandum issued by the National Police Commission.
BCPO Spokesperson Police Captain Rosalino Pugoy Jr., said the initiative serves as a vital method for identifying any police officers who may be involved in the use of illegal drugs.
Any personnel found positive for illegal drug use will face both criminal and administrative charges.*
