A couple was found dead on Saturday at Purok Calango, in Brgy. Iglau-an, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The victims, 45 and 47 years old, respectively, succumbed to gunshot injuries, according to the Murcia police, who withheld their identities.
Recovered from the scene of incident were a 12-gauge shotgun, a caliber .22 revolver, seven live ammunition and seven fired cartridges of .45 caliber pistol, an empty 12-gauge shell, nine live .22 caliber ammunition, eight live ammunition of 12-gauge shotgun, and a .45 caliber slug.
Police probers are looking into a land dispute as the trigger for the death of the couple.
The two cadavers were brought to a funeral parlor in Brgy. Blumentritt, Murcia for post mortem examinations and paraffin casting.*
